Forgetten Parents of Young India

Whenever you got a chance to visit an old age home for any reason  you must not leave that opportunity because you'll come to know thousands of emotional stories behind the people who are living there.

Seventy-year-old Suman Datta's (name changed) story is the story of thousands of aged mothers and fathers who were thrown by their own children. Suman has been living here in an old age home for the past couple of years. Her son left her to old age home after the death of her husband and her mental health is not well. Her son says that we can't let her live with us because she is a nightmare for my wife and my son. While telling all this Suman eyes filled up with tears that his own son to whom she devoted her life is now don't want to live with her.

Suman is not only one example there are many more Suman like this who is living in old age home instead of having a financially well settled family.

Same as Suman there's is an another story of an old lady Anita Singh (name changed) who was living in upmarket Janakpuri in west Delhi with her husband. Both their children were fairly well-settled in life, working in the field of information technology. Anita and her husband even sold their property in order to arrange money for their children's Green Card. When her husband died, the children came to attend his funeral and left their mother on the father's pyre.she had sustained serious burns. Is this the real young India development where your old parents go to any extend to full fill their children's demand and then when children have all the things they just left them in old age homes. Not only this but according to a report in which numbers also shows that aged women constitute 52 per cent of the total victims of domestic violence.
