Does Delhi have sufficient Old Age Home
Most
of the senior citizens have to spend their life in old age home either
happily or forcefully. Happy are those who have no one in this world to live
with they don't have any families and forcefully are those who has their
family, their home but their children don't want to live with them and send
them to old age home.

Now the question aries that 'how many old age home do we have to provide shelter to our senior citizens who are very important part of our society and if I truly express my self our society is incomplete without them.
According
to a report of Hindustan Times senior
citizens constitute over 10% of Delhi's population that is not a big section
according to whole population but a important section and large number of
people 1.86 crore, yet there are only two government-run old age homes in the
capital. Apart from this, there are 48 old-age homes in Delhi NCR run by NGOs
and trusts where the average minimum cost incurred by a senior citizen is about
R 4,000 per month.
Two
government old age home is not enough for the homeless old people especially in
the capital of our country in Delhi. So, government should look after this
issue.
Government should look after this and start constructing more old age homes for homeless senior citizens.
