Facilities that should be available in old age home

An old age home is the real home for more than thousands of homeless senior citizens who were physically and mentally torched by their own children or family members. There are so many examples in which children enjoy the benefits of their parents property and then throw them to old age homes.

Number of old people are living in old age home instead of being in their own homes so it should be the utmost priority of old age homes that all the important and necessary facilities should be given to them so that they will  feel safe and secure there.

An old age home must have full medical setup to deal routine and emergency situation and daily doctor visit so that if they required any treatment it should be given to them. Regular medical checkup is very necessary because at old age bodies are totally a house of diseases. Apart from this monitor and treatment of chronic diseases is also important.

At this last stage of life they cannot take care of themselves properly so old age homes must have 24 into 7 nursing care and 24 hours ambulance service so that in case of emergency they can reach to hospital as soon as possible, complete care for bed ridden. Physiotherapy is also necessary for them to keep their bones working.

These all health related facilities should be properly available in old age homes. Apart from this their should be things for their entertainment purpose also like picnic, television, indoor games so that they will feel like home.

These all small facilities which add up to big responsibilities are essential to be in old age homes.
